If you make a parity product (and one you’re charging a premium price for to insinuate that the name brand actually means something to someone), you’d damn well better make it the best it can be. A few cost cutting measures here, a revision of quality control there - all so your shareholders get a few more pennies per share in their dividend checks. They won’t be so happy this year, eh?
